The Story: Celler Frisach is a family-run winery that was created in 2009 by two brothers, Joan and Francesc Ferré. The winery’s aim is to make wines with local varieties, which show their work, the terroir and its vineyards, vindicating the modesty, the life of the countrypeople, viticulture and Corbera d'Ebre, its village. Celler Frisach has 40 hectares of its own vineyards, cultivated organically, mainly with White Grenache, Red Grenache, Downy Grenache (Garnacha Peluda) and Carignan. Planted on clay and calcareous soils. The harvest is done by hand. Once the grapes arrive at the winery, they undergo spontaneous ferment in cement vats, where the wine remains until it is bottled.
Personality: L’Abrunet Negre is a fluid, fruity and light wine. On the nose, aromas of ripe red fruit, floral notes and light spicy touches stand out. In the mouth, it has volume but is easy to drink and fresh.
Harmony: Chill this baby down, another BBQ classic.
