The Story: Caleb Leisure makes all his wines himself, farming about a third of the fruit. He is dedicated to principles of organics and permaculture. His winemaking is guided by ancient traditions bringing Georgian qvevri to his earthen cellar in Cloverdale, California. No additions or subtractions of any kind are made at any point with his wines, keeping them fresh and absolutely wild.
Personality: Bright red fruit, spice, electric acidity, some really delightful melon-y action, nose of Toys-R-Us nostalgia, Red Rock Canyon, bayleaf, ethereal structure, and a whisper of arid tannin with a long ass finish.
Harmony: Gather your coven and do some spell casting or tarot. This wine transcends anything as pedestrian as food, but with killer acid a wide range of options would work.
